Hut restaurant 'East-hut'

A charming hut restaurant next to the lower station of the eastern slope ski lifts. A camp fire site and a sunny terrace, hot and cold drinks.

The hut restaurant at the base of the eastern slopes can be reached by skiing the Tunturin ympäri (Around the fell) track or down the hill as well as by foot or car. In the springtime, the lovely sunny terrace is the perfect place to watch the downhill skiers and enjoy the sunshine, whereas in midwinter, the best way to fight off the cold is to sit on a sheep hide by the open fire, warming your fingers around a cup of steaming hot drink.

Itäkota offers drinks and snacks in the winter season.
