TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE SALLA REGULAR CUSTOMER SYSTEM

1. PRINCIPLES OF THE REGULAR CUSTOMER SYSTEM

In these terms and conditions, the regular customer system refers to Salla’s regional regular customer system and the private people who have joined this system as regular customers. The regular customers of Salla will receive product and service benefits from the companies in the Salla region mentioned in the regular customer bulletin. The regional regular customer system of Salla is maintained by Matkalle Sallaan ry – the Travelling in Salla Association.

2. REGISTERING AS A REGULAR CUSTOMER AND REGULAR CUSTOMER CARDS

You can become a member by applying for a Salla regular customer card. Everyone over 18 years of age can become a Salla regular customer. The regular customer card is subject to charge.

You can apply for regular customership either by filling in a form at one of the companies featured in the programme or by registering online at the Salla Travel website. The customer must always fill in all requested basic information. The information provided in the application will be handled in confidence.

3. LEVELS OF THE REGULAR CUSTOMER SYSTEM

A Salla regular customer can move from the basic level to level 2 or 3 and thus gain the benefits of the level. A regular customer card will be automatically upgraded to the higher level when the purchases registered on the card exceed the purchases required for the next level. The basic level is valid for an unlimited time within the existence of the regular customer programme. The validity of the other levels is limited.

An up-to-date description of the conditions for every effective level is available from the regular customer service of Travelling in Salla Association and from the regular customer page of the Salla Travel website.

4. PURCHASES

Purchase accumulation includes all the registered purchases made in the companies featured in the Salla regular customer system. However, companies may limit the products and services that accumulate the purchase accumulation. Some companies only give regular customers offers and benefits but the purchases made in these companies will not accumulate the purchase accumulation. Service and products increasing the purchase accumulation and valid level-specific benefits and offers are available on the regular customer page of the Salla Travel website (www.salla.fi). Registering purchases requires showing a regular customer card in connection to the purchases.

5. REGISTERING THE REGULAR CUSTOMER CARD PURCHASES

Registering purchases requires showing a regular customer card in connection to the purchases. Purchases made without the card will not be added to the purchase accumulation afterwards.

6. HANDLING OF CUSTOMER DATA AND MARKETING

Matkalle Sallaan ry – Travelling in Salla Association handles personal data in confidence according to the effective Finnish legislation. Matkalle Sallaan ry – Travelling in Salla Association and the companies featured in the regular customer system can use the gathered customer data for maintaining a customer relationship and also for informing of services, benefits and product offers if the customer has given his/her approval for this. Register information will not be disclosed to be used outside the Salla regular customer system.

Data in the register are based on the information provided to the Matkalle Sallaan ry – Travelling in Salla Association by the customer in the application phase or at a later stage. Purchases registered on the regular customer card will also be saved in the register for calculating accumulations.

Matkalle Sallaan ry – Travelling in Salla Association may regularly send information regarding benefits and offers for regular customers to the regular customers to an email address the customer has disclosed. A regular customer has the right to forbid the use of his/her contact information for direct marketing by notifying the Matkalle Sallaan ry – Travelling in Salla Association regular customer service. The ban is personal.

7. DISCONTINUING REGULAR CUSTOMERSHIP

A regular customer has a right to discontinue the Salla regular membership by notifying the Matkalle Sallaan ry – Travelling in Salla Association regular customer service via telephone or in writing.

8. OTHER CONDITIONS

The card is personal and may only be used by the person for whom it is registered. Benefits and offers also apply to people living in the same household as the card holder. Any changes to personal information must be notified to the Matkalle Sallaan ry – Travelling in Salla Association regular customer service. Benefits only apply to normal priced products, and two benefits cannot be combined.

Matkalle Sallaan ry – Travelling in Salla Association reserves all rights to change the regular customer programme, for example the benefits, levels and conditions. Matkalle Sallaan ry – Travelling in Salla Association also reserves the right to discontinue the programme without separate compensation.
