The lake Naruskajärvi and the Tuntsa wilderness are located in Northern Salla, close to the Russian border. The area has no permanent residents, so you have a unique opportunity to enjoy some peace and quiet and the diverse nature on marked hiking routes and snowmobile trails.
The main building, located by the lake Naruskajärvi, houses a pub and has two double rooms and two apartments consisting of a bedroom and a kitchen. Next to the main building, there are two apartments, each consisting of three bedrooms, a kitchen and a shower/toilet. The area also features two saunas and a lean-to.
Tuntsan Pirtti by the river Tuntsajoki offers accommodation for 20 persons. The cottage has no running water, but you can use the crystal clear water of Tuntsajoki. There is also a sauna on the riverbank and the toilet is in an outhouse. The rustic atmosphere is further enhanced by candlelight lighting.
